The Delaware County Homeownership 1st Program provides up to $5,000 for down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible low/moderate income households interested in purchasing their first home in Delaware County.

Additional Information: The assistance is provided in the form of a 0% interest loan that is only repayable upon the sale or transfer of the property. Loans made in County designated Revitalization Areas are forgiven if the homeowner remains in the property for 5 years. Participants must be 1st time homebuyers and complete pre-purchase counseling prior to entering into an agreement of Sale.
